It was good to see an old friend yesterday that I haven't seen for several years now. This Box turtle has a deformed right hind foot, having been damaged earlier in its life. But nothing is going to stop this amazing turtle! [Terrapene carolina]. Dauphin County, Pa. 6-2-24
This female Common Snapping Turtle [Chelydra serpentina] has dug a nest right along a back road and is in the process of laying eggs. She has made the long journey through fields from the creek which is to the left. Dauphin County, Pa. 5-25-24
