Turtles
It was good to see an old friend yesterday that I have been seeing for many years now in the same area. This Box turtle has a deformed right hind foot, having been damaged earlier in its life. But still the foot doesn't stop or slow him down, it has just adapted to it over the years, and as you can see the foot is worn and calloused form years of use. [Terrapene carolina]. Dauphin County, Pa. 6-5-25
