Lichens, Mosses and Fungi
This moth has met a gruesome end at the hands of Moth Urchin Fungus [Akanthomyces aculeatus]. After inadvertently coming into contact with the spores of this fungus, it envelops and consumes the moth alive. All the remains are the wings and you can also see the moths legs.
